Kylie Kelce isn\u2019t here for the parenting police\u2014especially when it comes to her daughters\u2019 names.<\/p>\n

The wife of retired Philadelphia Eagles star Jason Kelce recently opened up on her \u201cNot Gonna Lie\u201d podcast about the criticism she\u2019s received online for choosing so-called \u201cboy names\u201d for her four daughters. Kylie and Jason are parents to Wyatt, 6; Elliotte, 4; Bennett, 2; and their youngest, Finn, who is just 7 months old.<\/p>\n

Some fans have taken issue with the couple\u2019s name choices, calling them too masculine. But Kylie was quick to set the record straight.<\/p>

\u201cThis next question appears to be pure rage bait. \u2018What\u2019s with the boy names?\u2019 I\u2019ll tell you what\u2019s with the boys\u2019 names,\u201d she said. \u201cWe, my husband and I, liked gender-neutral names for our daughters.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kylie explained that when she and Jason chose the name Wyatt, they didn\u2019t even know their baby\u2019s gender at the time. For them, the names weren\u2019t about making a statement\u2014they were simply names they loved.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe part that I take issue with on people having issue with our names is that I actually didn\u2019t ask,\u201d Kylie said with a laugh. \u201cI didn\u2019t ask what you thought about my kids\u2019 names. My husband and I agreed on the names. We like them. You, honestly, you should try naming a human being. It\u2019s not easy. And so, yeah, I\u2019m good.\u201d<\/p>\n

Her candid response struck a chord with many parents who know the pressures of public scrutiny, especially when raising a family in the spotlight. The Kelces, who rose to fame thanks to Jason\u2019s NFL career and the family\u2019s popularity on social media, have become beloved for their authenticity\u2014but that openness sometimes comes with unwanted opinions.<\/p>\n

Jason, who co-hosts the \u201cNew Heights\u201d podcast with his brother and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, has also shared his perspective on parenting their four girls. He said that he and Kylie are very much aligned when it comes to discipline.<\/p>

\u201cWe\u2019re on the same page almost all the time,\u201d Jason explained. \u201cWe\u2019re both pretty disciplinarian when it comes to the girls.\u201d<\/p>\n

The proud dad also admitted that becoming a girl dad softened him in ways he didn\u2019t expect. \u201cWhen I first found out I was having Wyatt, I was like, \u2018Okay. I\u2019m not gonna raise her any different than how I would raise a boy,\u2019\u201d he recalled. \u201cThen the moment she came out, it was very hard to not be that dad\u2026 it is very difficult when they look at me a certain way to not cave, like, instantaneously.\u201d<\/p>\n

For Kylie, who continues to use her platform to promote positive parenting and real-life conversations, the criticism hasn\u2019t shaken her confidence. She and Jason remain focused on what matters most\u2014their daughters and the family values they\u2019re building together.<\/p>\n

As Kylie put it simply: \u201cWe like the names. They make us happy. And that\u2019s all that really matters.\u201d<\/p>\n
