According to reports from several sources, the legendary \u201cIf I Could Turn Back Time\u201d singer is set to marry her boyfriend, music executive Alexander \u201cAE\u201d Edwards, 39. The two have been together for three years, and despite their 40-year age gap, sources say they\u2019re deeply in love and ready to make it official.<\/p>\n

\u201cCher doesn\u2019t give a hoot about their age difference and they\u2019re both ready to commit to each other,\u201d one insider told The Mirror<\/em>. \u201cShe sees her upcoming celebration at turning 80 as the perfect time for her and Alexander to seal the deal.\u201d<\/p>

In a recent CBS Mornings<\/em> interview with Gayle King, she smiled as she talked about their relationship. \u201cYou know, you get older but your spirit is younger,\u201d she said. \u201cI just love him. I think he\u2019s beautiful and he\u2019s really talented.\u201d<\/p>\n

The couple first made headlines in late 2022 after being spotted holding hands in Los Angeles.
