Love stories that stand the test of time are rare, and Sir Richard Branson and his wife Joan Templeman shared one that spanned five beautiful decades. On November 25th, the Virgin Group founder announced the heartbreaking news that his beloved wife of 35 years had passed away at the age of 80.<\/p>\n

Branson shared the loss on Instagram, writing, \u201cHeartbroken to share that Joan, my wife and partner for 50 years, has passed away. She was my best friend, my rock, my guiding light, my world.\u201d He added that Joan was \u201cthe most wonderful mum and grandmum our kids and grandkids could have ever wished for.\u201d<\/p>
