If you\u2019re single, you might want to steer clear of looking for a potential suitor in one of these US states that have been named as the places where the most cheating in relationships and marriages happens.<\/p>\n

According to new research conducted by Instacams, an adult webcam site, there are supposedly 10 states where people are looking to cheat on their partners the most.<\/p>\n

The research analyzed the number of searches for 80 different popular dating apps, such as Tinder, BLK and Ashley Madison \u2014 the controversial app married people use to have an affair \u2014 in the US throughout 2024 and then ranked the states with the highest number.<\/p>

\u201cThis research goes to show that there is a widespread interest in having an affair among married people in the US, with almost one million searches for the platform every month,\u201d said Aart Van Dijk, a spokesperson for Instacams.<\/p>\n

Coming in at No. 1 is the chilly state of Colorado, with 424 dating app searches, primarily for Ashley Madison, which was the second most searched app here.<\/p>\n

Rounding out the top three were North Dakota and New Hampshire. ND had 362 searches for just Ashley Madison per 100,000 residents.<\/p>\n

New Hampshire wasn\u2019t far behind, as this state saw 357 monthly searches for each 100,000 people for the married dating app.<\/p>\n

Before you think the East Coast is in the clear \u2014 New York came in last, but still made it in the top 10, which isn\u2019t anything to be proud of. The Big Apple saw 331 monthly searches.<\/p>\n

And Connecticut also made the list, coming slightly ahead of NYC with 335 searches per month.<\/p>\n

Here are the top 10 states where people are looking to cheat the most.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \u201cIt is interesting to see which states are searching for Ashley Madison the most. The controversial app is made specifically for married people looking to have an affair, so its popularity may come as a surprise to some,\u201d said Dijk.<\/p>\n

    \u201cIt is the third most popular dating app in the US overall, after Tinder and BLK.\u201d<\/p>\n

    If you\u2019re unsure whether your partner is cheating or not \u2014 here are some signs to keep an eye out for according to professional \u201choney trapper\u201d Madeline Smith is the bait.<\/p>\n

    Hiding their phone is an obvious but big one. Other ones include: never posting any pictures of you, they use Snapchat, they won\u2019t share their locations and they accuse you of cheating.<\/p>\n

    Lastly, pay attention to your intuition.<\/p>\n

    \u201cAlmost all of the messages I receive are from women saying that something just doesn\u2019t feel right and, sadly, they\u2019re usually right,\u201d Smith said. \u201cIf in doubt, call him out \u2013 or engage the services of someone like me!\u201d<\/p>\n
